Goku's skills and Gohan's speed were both trouble for Cell. I don't think Cell can handle both of them if he hasn't powered up from warm-up yet.

When Cell started the fight with Gohan I imagine that Cell powered up to the same advantage agaisnt Gohan as he had agaisnt Goku, considering how Gohan is much stronger than Goku then even initial Cell may have pulled it off. Giving him the extra speed to the point where not even Gohan can do anything just seals his victory.

When Cell has max speed Gohan can't touch him. Instant transmission may help Goku keep up with Cell but he doesn't have the power to do anything.

Posts: 3,460 Group: Suspended Member #7,405 Joined: March 6, 2012	Goku used IT against Cell before kamehameha, but it didnt helped a lot. Its pretty obvious that Goku cant use IT without beeing fully concentrated on target like Cell using his speed. Cell and Gohan obviously take this...

Then I think Gohan and Goku could pull it off assuming Gohan fights. Of course that's just going off my own opinion that Cell made the gap between Gohan and himself the same as he did with Goku. So basically we'd have another Goku vs Cell but with the former getting a lot of help.
